On Friday 28th May I spoke on a school assembly about reconcilliation week, which ran from the 27th May until the 3rd June. I spoke about the meaning of reconcilliation week and what it means for all Australians. I also spoke about the stolen generations and the apology from Mr Rudd. Reconcilliation Week is about seeing it through and remembering the rights of Indigenous Australians.
We would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and also pay respect to Elders both past and present.
